Warden Message: A Town Hall Meeting In Almaty For U.S. Citizens on February 10, 2011.
The U.S. Consulate General invites American citizens in and around Almaty to attend a town hall meeting on Thursday evening, February 10th, 2011. The Principal Officer will provide an update on the state of U.S.-Kazakhstan relations and security issues, as well as listen to the views of resident Americans. This forum is your opportunity to present issues directly to the U.S. Consul General.
Before and after the meeting, representatives of the U.S. Consulate General Consular Section will provide basic consular services such as notarials, including affidavits, authentications, certification of true copies, and accept passport applications. These services will be performed on a credit card-only basis.
Please contact the U.S. Consulate General consular section at usakz@state.gov for the exact place and time. You must have your passports available for identification purposes. We hope to see many of you on Thursday, February the 10th.
If you would like to apply for a passport for a child: both parents and the child must appear in person to sign the passport application form.
If you would like to apply for a passport renewal, please fill out an application form and submit your current passport.
If you require a notary service, please prepare the document to be notarized and bring your ID.

Service Fee Minor (under 16 y.o.) passport $105
Regular adult passport renewal $110
Replacement of a lost/stolen passport $135
Notary services: $50
